This policy describes how Dennis Kateeti (“we”, “I”) handles information on this portfolio site and its FX News feed.
Information we collect
There is no sign-in, no account, no advertising network and no tracking pixel on this site. You can read every page without identifying yourself.
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not set cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not use the data for advertising. See Vercel’s analytics privacy policy.
The FX News feed
The feed is assembled on a server every 30 minutes from the public RSS feeds that ForexLive, FXStreet, Investing.com, the European Central Bank and the US Federal Reserve publish for syndication. We store only each item's headline, the summary the publisher's own feed provides, the source name, the link and the publication time — never the full article. Every item links back to the original publisher.
The short “What this means” note on each item is generated by a language model from that headline and summary alone. It is an automated interpretation, it can be wrong, and it is not financial advice.
How the page loads
Your browser reads the stored feed directly from Google Firebase Firestore, and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Those requests reach Google's servers and are subject to Google's privacy policy. Firestore access here is read-only and anonymous — no credential is created for you and nothing is written back.
Following a link out to a publisher takes you to that company's own site, under its own policy.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own.
Email from the retired trading journal
This site previously hosted a public trading journal that let visitors follow it by email. That journal has been retired and no further emails are sent. If you had subscribed, the unsubscribe link in any earlier email still works and removes your address; you can also ask for removal at the address below.
